Scientific network Images of Aging launches video with 'food for thought'

The scientific network Images of Aging, which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), has launched a video with 'food for thought' on images of aging.

German version:

Views on aging influence how we interact with people of different ages and also the choices we make as we grow older. They determine how we develop, what goals we set, and how we take care of our health and precautions. Across the lifespan, views on aging are an important driver of mental and physical health and of intergenerational solidarity.

Since 2017, the scientific DFG network "Altersbilder" lead by Verena Klusmann (PI) at the University of Konstanz, together with national and international experts, has been working on the theoretical synthesis and closing of research gaps regarding the dynamics of the development and impact of views on aging across the lifespan from a primarily psychological perspective.
